Saskatoon: our base of operations

Our training centre is in Saskatoon, easily accessible from across the city. Free parking is available on site and the facility is fully accessible. Public courses run on a continuous schedule — generally several cohorts per week across the various course types, with both daytime and evening options to accommodate shift workers, students, and parents balancing childcare.

Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan and the commercial centre of the province's northern half. The mix of industries within the city limits is unusual for a city its size: globally significant mining headquarters (Cameco, Nutrien legacy operations), an internationally regarded research university and medical school, two major hospitals (Royal University Hospital and Saskatoon City Hospital), large-scale manufacturing, a high-velocity construction sector, and a deep agricultural service economy spanning Saskatoon's hinterland. Every one of those sectors needs current first aid certification on a continuous basis, and our public schedule reflects that demand: regular Standard First Aid cohorts, monthly BLS sessions, frequent CPR-only options, and fast-turnaround recertifications.

Communities we deliver to onsite

For workplaces, schools, daycares, and organizations with groups of six or more to certify, onsite delivery is often the most efficient option. Same content, same certifying body, same certificate — but we come to you. Across central Saskatchewan, these are the communities where we travel most often.

Warman

Just north of Saskatoon and one of the fastest-growing communities in Saskatchewan, Warman's mix of residential development, light manufacturing, and trades businesses makes for steady onsite training demand. We frequently deliver Standard First Aid and CPR sessions to construction crews and trades teams working on Warman's expanding commercial and residential build-out.

Martensville

Immediately northwest of Saskatoon, Martensville hosts a growing roster of trades businesses, light industrial operations, and small employers. We deliver public Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid sessions to local crews, particularly during slower trade-cycle periods when employers can release teams for a single training day.

Dalmeny

A smaller community north of Saskatoon, Dalmeny's largely agricultural and service-business mix typically books onsite group training a few times annually — usually as a coordinated single-day certification for a small employer or community organization.

Osler

North of Warman, Osler's agricultural and small-business community books onsite training periodically. We coordinate Osler bookings with neighbouring Warman and Dalmeny clients where possible to keep travel-related costs reasonable.

Aberdeen

Northeast of Saskatoon, Aberdeen's agricultural employers and small-business owners book onsite first aid training around seasonal operations. The CSA Z1220-17 first aid kit risk assessments required of agricultural operations under Saskatchewan OHS are a frequent prompt for these bookings.

Asquith, Delisle, Langham, Allan, Vanscoy

Smaller communities surrounding Saskatoon, generally with significant agricultural production, light industrial activity, and small-business sectors. We deliver onsite training to these areas on request, usually grouped with nearby bookings to make the travel cost-effective.

Mining and resource sites

For PCS, BHP, Cameco, and other resource-sector operators with sites in the Saskatoon catchment, we deliver onsite Standard First Aid, CPR, and recertification programs aligned to shift rotations. These bookings often involve multiple cohorts run across consecutive days to certify entire crews without disrupting operations.

Further reach

For larger group bookings, we also travel to communities further afield — North Battleford, Prince Albert, Humboldt, Rosthern, Outlook, Kindersley, and other central Saskatchewan locations. Travel costs are quoted upfront and are usually minor relative to per-person training costs once a group of 10+ is in play.

How onsite delivery works

• Group sizes: minimum 6 participants for most courses (some flexibility for smaller groups with a course minimum fee). Maximum 12 participants per instructor; larger groups handled by multiple instructors or staggered cohorts.
• We bring: certified instructor(s), adult/child/infant manikins, AED trainers, bandaging and splinting materials, course participant manuals, and the Canadian Red Cross certificates issued on completion.
• You provide: a room large enough for participants to lie down and perform CPR practice (a meeting room, training room, classroom, or clean industrial space works), reliable scheduling, and any internal coordination needed to release staff.
• Costs: standard pricing applies within Saskatoon and immediate surrounding communities. Bookings further afield may include a modest travel surcharge — we'll always quote it upfront.

Public versus onsite — which makes sense for you?

If you're booking for one or two people, public cohorts at our Saskatoon training centre are the simplest option. You'll be in a small group with other students from across the region, get the same instructor attention you'd receive in a private session, and walk out the same day with your certificate.

If you're booking for six or more, onsite usually wins on both cost and time. The total per-person cost typically lands at or below public registration rates, and you avoid the productivity loss of staff travelling individually.
